Paradise Group Opens New ‘Home’ In Hoi An

HOI AN, Vietnam – The company responsible for two of the finest culinary enterprises in Hanoi has opened its first restaurant outside of Vietnam’s capital.

Called HOME Hoi An, Paradise Group’s newest venture aims to provide guests and residents of historic Hoi An the same kind of cozy-yet-classy Vietnamese dining experience that HOME Hanoi has become synonymous with.

“Our goal is to take the HOME concept to all of Vietnam’s major cities, and beyond,” said Nguyen Cao Son, Paradise Group’s general director. “HOME Hoi An is a big step in that direction.”

Located at 112 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street, HOME Hoi An is in the heart of Hoi An, in an old French residence that can accommodate up to 120 diners at a time.

The kitchen is helmed by seasoned chef Nguyen Gia Thien, who has designed a menu rife with sophisticated interpretations of Hoi An specialties that are served up in exquisitely decorated dining rooms.

Standout design flourishes include ancient Vietnamese art, rattan wall panels and a table anchored by a massive earthenware jar, traditionally used to store rice.

Long renowned for its impressive array of Halong Bay cruises, Paradise Group broke into the upscale restaurant business in June 2015 with HOME Hanoi, which now ranks among the top 10 eating establishments in Hanoi on TripAdvisor.

Paradise’s other restaurant in Hanoi, Ngon Villa, gets high marks on the travel website, as well.

The group also owns and operates Paradise Suites Hotel and Paradise Trend Hotel, the only luxury boutique hotels in Halong Bay.

HOME Hoi An is open daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, or to make a reservation, visit www.homehoianrestaurant.com.
