New Resort Tees Off with Golf Course to Unveil ‘Stay and Golf’ Experience

CAM RANH, Vietnam (Oct. 22, 2020) – Luxurious five-star beachfront resort Alma has joined forces with Greg Norman-designed KN Golf Links to launch packages that combine a stay in an oversized suite or pavilion affording ocean views with time on the green.

The two- and three-night “Stay and Golf” packages for two people are on offer at the 30-hectare resort’s contemporary one-bedroom ocean view suites, ocean view pool pavilions and ocean front pool pavilions that all overlook Long Beach in Vietnam’s new IT destination Cam Ranh.

The two-night package includes one round of golf and the three-night package is anchored by two rounds at KN Golf Links at the southern end of Cam Ranh’s 8km Long Beach. Alma, which opened in December 2019, is situated towards the northern end of the beach.

To help boost their game, golfers also benefit from a foot massage for two at Alma’s Le Spa, home to 13 separate treatment villas, as part of the two-night package and a body massage for two under the three-night package.

Available until December 23 this year, the packages also include daily breakfast for two and a discount of 20% on food and beverage at the resort’s diverse culinary landscape comprising 14 dining outlets.

The main attraction at the 27-hole development KN Golf Links is its 18-hole Links course, inspired by the classic seaside layouts of Scotland and Ireland and described by Australian legend Norman as one of the “most unique properties I’ve ever been able to work with”. Complementing the Links course is the Oasis: a 9-hole, garden-style challenge that runs inland from the clubhouse.

“Whether you’re a budding golfer or an experienced professional, our new Stay and Play package brings together the best of what’s on offer here at Long Beach, that’s fast becoming one of Asia’s premier beach destinations,” said Alma’s general manager Herbert Laubichler-Pichler.

The Stay and Golf experience is priced from VND 5,352,000 (USD 231) for two people in an Ocean View Suite One Bedroom for two nights with one round of golf through to VND 10,558,000 (USD 456) for two people in an Ocean Front Pool Pavilion One Bedroom Ground Floor for three nights with two rounds of golf.  Stay and Golf is available until December 23, 2020. Prices include 10% tax and 5% service charge.

Pent-up demand for travel in the wake of COVID-19 has surged onto the shores of Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula, where the new 580-room Alma resort welcomed 14,000 guests in June.

Alma General Manager Herbert Laubichler-Pichler said the resort’s two- and three-bedroom pavilions with large living and dining areas, kitchens and private pools had proven to be the most popular accommodations with guests in the wake of COVID-19 due to “a perception of a home away from home that’s safer, where you don’t have to mix with others as much”.
