Nam Hai Takes Activities List To New Heights
HOI AN, Vietnam — There are now two more reasons to visit The Nam Hai.

Vietnam’s most acclaimed resort, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year, has partnered with local operators to offer a pair of enriching new excursions.

The Villages Tour is a day trip to the hamlets of Bho Hoong and Trung Mung, where guests have the opportunity to experience tribal life in the Central Highlands.

Highlights include a guided walk with a local resident, tea with the former king of the Co Tu people and a front-row seat at a traditional music performance.

The Villages Tour is VND 3.15 million (approximately USD 145) per person to go by car or minivan, and VND 7.14 million (approx. USD 330) per person to go by jeep.

The car or minivan option is designed for groups of three or more, while the jeep is set up to accommodate no more than two travelers.

The Helicopter Tour is a 12-minute aerial tour of Danang, home to some of Vietnam’s most iconic attractions including Marble Mountain and Son Tra Peninsula.

The adrenaline-pumping activity also presents passengers with bird’s-eye views of the fire-breathing Dragon Bridge, the 30-storey-high Goddess of Mercy statue, and a suite of gold-sand beaches as beautiful as any in the world.

The Helicopter Tour is priced at VND 3.8 million (approx. USD 175) per person, including transfers to and from the meeting point in Danang, about half an hour from The Nam Hai.

The new tours bolster an already-impressive selection of excursions available at The Nam Hai.

The list includes in-depth tours of UNESCO World Heritage sites Hoi An, My Son and Hue; illuminating sunrise and sunset cruises of Hoi An; private snorkeling and scuba diving trips to Cham Island by speed boat; and exotic outings to local farming and fishing communities.
Since opening on the shores of the East Sea in December 2006, The Nam Hai has amassed a slew of prestigious accolades.

Earlier this year, it won inclusion on Travel + Leisure magazine’s T+L 500, an annual compendium of the world’s best hotels. The honor marked the third consecutive year The Nam Hai made the list.

The resort has also appeared on Conde Nast Traveler’s Gold List and Readers’ Choice Awards ranking.
The Nam Hai features 60 One-Bedroom Villas and 40 Pool Villas ranging from one to five bedrooms, each with its own infinity pool.

Away from the 35-hectare property’s main axis, the spa commands a tranquil space where eight treatment rooms appear to float like lotus flowers atop a koi fish lagoon.

Other signature features of the GHM-managed resort include three beachfront swimming pools and an organic herb and vegetable garden where Executive Chef Richard Wilson grows and picks many of the ingredients that go into his culinary creations.
