LUANG PRABANG, Laos — The multi-awarded Apple Tree Group last week appointed a new management team to head operations at the eco-glamping retreat Kamu Lodge in Luang Prabang. French native Olivier Trafial takes the reins as Manager of the 20-tent Kamu Lodge while Natchanan Kamchua from Thailand is set to revitalize Villa Maly’s kitchen as F&B Manager.
The 53-year-old Trafial has some seven years of experience as sales executive in France, and comes to Luang Prabang fresh from his most recent position as a public relations manager for Le Lutecia restaurant in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Kamchua brings nine years of experience in culinary arts to her new post, including four years as a chef at Koh Samui’s well-known Vikasa Yoga Boutique Resort.
