In mid-November, Greg Norman premiered his third design in Vietnam: KN Golf Links. We handled the media for the grand opening of the layout, which is located near Cam Ranh, an emerging beach location in the country. This was the third time we’ve unveiled one of Norman’s designs in Vietnam. First, there was the Danang Golf Club back in 2010. Then there was The Bluffs Ho Tram in 2014. And now KN Golf Links. Greg Norman likes Vietnam. We like Greg Norman designs. As well, we like telling everyone about them.

For this one, we looked after 14 media from around Asia including Golf Digest Korea and GOLF Magazine China among others.

The opening itself was a lavish affair, with dragon dancers and a traditional drum-beating ceremony getting proceedings underway. We presided over a morning press conference where media guests were able to quiz the club’s owner Le Van Kiem and Norman about the course. In answer to one question about his thoughts on the course, Norman said: “I would put this up there in the top 10 in terms of unique properties I’ve ever been able to work with.”

If this new Norman design is anything like his previous efforts, there’ll be a lot of ink flowing on this one. And a lot for us to do.
