TAIPEI, Taiwan — The Grand Hyatt Taipei is rebating 8% of the master bill to organizations that book events at the property from June 1 through the end of September. The booked event can take place anytime between now and Feb. 29, 2016.
The new ‘SMICE’ package also provides for complimentary wireless and wired Internet access in all of the meeting rooms. And event planners are eligible to receive Double Hyatt Gold Passport Planner Rewards bonus points. Points can be redeemed for free nights, room upgrades and credits against future events at any Hyatt.
The meetings facilities at the Grand Hyatt include a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 1,200 people, 10 additional meeting rooms and a drawing room.
The hotel’s piece de resistance for events is the Grand Residence, a stylish venue on the hotel’s lobby level. The 500 square metres of the Grand Residence include three indoor spaces at 40, 100 and 320 square metres, an outdoor venue with a view of Taipei 101 and an extravagant glasshouse showroom.
