Fusion Gets Festive With Holiday Celebrations That Indulge Body And Spirit

Fusion gets into the festive spirit with special holiday treats.

HO CHI MINH CITY (Nov. 14, 2019) – While indulgence over the festive season is usually a matter of tasty treats, one hotel group in Vietnam is doling out spiritual pick-me-ups, to boot.

At Fusion’s beachfront, all-spa-inclusive resorts throughout Vietnam, the guiding star leads to body rubs, Tai Chi and yuletide activities, as well as buffets.

At the brand’s chic all-suite city hotels, the shepherd’s ushering guests to chromatherapy sessions or aerial yoga classes, as well as champagne-fueled celebrations.

“Christmas and New Year’s is a time of celebration with friends and family when we reflect on the year gone by and start planning for the next,” said Atilla Erda, Fusion’s chief operating officer. “We want our guests to experience wellness in a fun and friendly way as they prepare for the year ahead.”

Here’s a look at what’s happening at Fusion’s properties around the country:

Fusion Resort Cam Ranh

Christmas-themed cooking and decoration classes are set for December 23rd & 24th as a lead in to Santa’s visit at breakfast on the 25th. Christmas Eve celebrations, with an ‘East meets West’ theme, will include an evening buffet overlooking the beach and live music. For New Year’s the resort goes tropical with an indulgent Asian Tropicana buffet banquet, free-flow wines and beer, lucky draws, a band, and DJ to swing guests into 2020. The beachfront resort will keep the good spirits high over the holidays with laughter yoga sessions each Monday and Friday afternoon. The 30 minute classes are no joke. 10 minutes of a good belly laugh can burn as many calories as 30 minutes of cardio, all while reducing stress and boosting feel-good hormones.

Fusion Resort Phu Quoc

Christmas will be tropical at the paradise island’s wellness resort with a traditional Christmas Day dinner at the Secret Garden, followed by live music and drinks by the oceanfront pool. On New Year’s Eve a spectacular gala dinner will be held in the resort’s main restaurant before guests are invited to gather for a white-themed beach party that will lead to an end of year countdown. The celebrations will be spurred along by a DJ and free-flow packages along with complimentary canapés and finger food. Those wishing to balance the reveling with some reflection can book in with the resort’s visiting yoga teacher. Rami Barak will be leading guests through yin and yang yoga classes, mindful movement sessions, as well as Hatha and Ashtanga style classes. Those wanting to put the right foot forward in 2020 can start with yoga at 8:30am on the first day of the new decade.

Fusion Maia Da Nang

Fusion Maia is embracing the holiday season on the 24th and 25th with a luxurious five-course menu perfectly paired with premium wine selections and accompanied by a delightful festive dessert buffet. New Year’s Eve gets glamorous with pink-hued plans that involve a gala dinner and countdown party themed ‘La vie en rose,’ to invite guests to see life through rose-coloured glasses. Pre-dinner cocktails and canapés will be followed by a festive buffet and the property’s signature dessert bar. Midnight champagne toasts and a guest DJ guarantee a great start to the new year. Guests can also bliss out from their indulgent feasts at the Maia Spa, where therapists are trained in the energy healing practice of Reiki and infuse this practice into their spa sessions.

Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion

Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion will celebrate with a traditional Christmas buffet on the 24th of December, accompanied by a performance of live music, and a visit by Santa Claus. New Year’s Eve will be rung in with a buffet dinner at the wellness resort’s Madam Chau’s, with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or sparkling Alba mineral water. As dinner comes to an end the night will turn into a countdown party in the property’s Rock Garden, alongside the hot springs, in preparation for midnight with more drinks, Alba mineral water and light snacks. For the more wellness orientated guests there’s a range of healthy options on the menu, with the most fitting being rounding off the evening’s celebrations under the stars soaking in the mineral-rich outdoor hot springs.

Fusion Suites Sai Gon

On Christmas Day, the hotel’s in-house chef will create a three-course or four-course feast, accompanied by unlimited alcoholic beverages (including selected house signature drinks) at the hotel’s Fresh Restaurant. In the evening they’ll host celebratory drinks around the theme of a “Christmas of Appreciation.” For New Year’s Eve, the hotel’s exclusive rooftop venue, will be the backdrop for a gourmet dinner seafood buffet and drinks, while guests enjoy the unbeatable view of year end fireworks and celebrate seeing out the old and welcoming in the new as the year ticks over.
