HANOI, Vietnam — The Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is uniting couples in the capital with the finest in wedding inspiration, preparation, and style in a full-day Romance Fair on August 17.
The Metropole is partnering with the experienced planners of WedinStyle for its inaugural Romance Fair, featuring a bridal runway show, gown galleries from standout designers, and beauty and photo workshops with top local salons.
From 9am to 9pm on August 17, brides and grooms in Hanoi are invited to explore the Metropole’s Open Gallery of Vietnamese and Western wedding showcases. Wedding galleries, themed displays and information booths will be set up in three of the hotel’s most elegant venues — Thang Long Hall, Le Veranda and Le Balcon.
The hotel’s event specialists and celebrated culinary team will be on hand to share expertise and assist brides and grooms in designing their big day. A selection of canapés, cakes and wines will be served to give couples a taste of the Metropole’s bespoke wedding menus.
A beauty workshop with makeup artist Bui Duc Kha will take place at 2pm, followed by a photo workshop for couples sponsored by Tiara Salon at 3 pm.
The general manager of the hotel, Mr. Kai Speth, will make an official welcome speech to all the soon-to-be newlyweds at 5 pm. The fair will climax with a bridal fashion show and the announcement of the winners of the Metropole’s photo competition on Facebook.Couples booking wedding packages at the Metropole during the event will receive a complimentary two-night stay at So Sofitel in Bangkok or any of participating Sofitel hotels worldwide.
Entrance to the Metropole’s ‘Romance Fair’ is free and open to the public.
